For Registering Saddle Horse Rider/Owner Only - Please Note: This option will require payment in full to allow You And Your Own Riding Horse on the 2025 Fort Seward Covered Wagon Train. We also recommend that you have full liability insurance coverage on your horse to protect your personal assets.

This registration DOES NOT include wagon seating. This family adventure covered wagon train has been held annually since 1969, and will be celebrating it's 56th Anniversary during this event. This event starts at the historic Fort Seward Park located on the NW corner of the city of Jamestown, North Dakota.

If you are a person who is coming with children that are not your own and are 18 yrs. or younger, Fort Seward, Inc. requires this Minors Unaccompanied by Parents or Lawful Guardian form (in PDF) to be filled out and mailed to Fort Seward Inc. Please send to the address on the form.

Due to the nature of this outdoor activity, that exposes us all to the elements of Nature and animals, Fort Seward, Inc. requires all staff and participants to agree to this Release Agreement before registering. Please read this carefully over, before you register. There will also be a more formal form for all staff and participants to sign in person at wagon train registration, prior to wagon train departure. Also, due to the nature of this outdoor activity, we require all staff and participants to provide Fort Seward, Inc. emergency contact information, should an illness or injury happen during the wagon train.
