Her comment about the wagon train: "I absolutely "died and went to Heaven" the summer of 1970 when I became a first time trail rider with the Fort Seward Wagon Train. I was 24 yrs old and the chaperon for my 16 yr. old sister, Linda (Tesky) Elhard. I decided then and there that I would go again when my family was old enough. In 1979 our youngest child was 4 yrs old and our family of 5 spent the next 13 years traveling with the Fort Seward Wagon Train. We have many wonderful memories and made many lasting friendships over the years. This year (2005) I plan to travel with the Fort Seward Wagon Train with my 3 grandchildren! I LOVE North Dakota! The earthy smell of it's rolling land, the glorious sight of it's sunsets & sunrises, the fragrance of it's prairie flowers, farmer's fields of growing crops, alfalfa, sweet clover, and crisp, fresh smell after a summer rainfall. This is the best way to experience North Dakota living!"
